The Spiritual care department at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo has an urgent and ongoing need for new handcrafted knitted, quilted or fleece blankets. As an extension of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, we are asking for small blankets (approximately 40"x50"). These blankets will be given to patients nearing death as a beautiful and warm reminder of the Church Communities' love and prayer. Please join us in fulfilling the Gospel call to comfort the sick and dying and their loved ones by donating your time, talents and supplies. Blankets can be dropped off anytime at Mercy Hospital's main lobby information desk.
Cozy quilts of HUMC will also be participating!
