Last week, Kathy Manguso informed SPRC that she would be leaving employment with SPRC. I want to take this opportunity to thank her for her years of service and to let you know that SPRC will be seeking a replacement for her to begin in May of this year.
We will be posting the job and working diligently to fill the position, but wanted to announce it to you and offer the first posting here. If you or someone you know might be interested; please contact SPRC by emailing either Rose Caldwell (rgscaldwell@msn.com) or me (pastordavid@hamburgumc.org).
I am sure God will provide the right person to help us manage the work of the Church here in Hamburg going forward!
Grace and Peace,
Pastor David

ANNOUNCEMENTSCALL TO WORSHIP
Come to Christ, that living stone, rejected by the world, but in God’s sight chosen and precious.
We have responded to Christ’s call, and seek to be built into a spiritual house, a living reminder of God’s presence on earth.
Once we were no people but now, we are God’s people, called out of the darkness into God’s marvelous light.
Therefore we sing with the church in all ages:
Blessed be your name, O God, our Redeemer.By your mercy, we have been born anew to a living home through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
OPENING MUSIC: “O For a Thousand Tounges to Sing” #57 UMH
OPENING PRAYER: O God, you have built your church
upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.Save the community of your people
from the cowardly surrender to the world, from rendering unto Caesar what belongs to you, and from forgetting the eternal gospel amid the temporal pressures of our troubled days. For the unity of the Church, we pray, and for fellowship across the embittered lines of race and nation;to grow in grace, building in love, enlargement in service, increase in wisdom, faith, charity, and power, we dedicate our lives;through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
