Little Lamb Preschool Open House

Join us on February 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for an exclusive opportunity to explore our classrooms and meet our dedicated teachers! Our classes cater to children aged 2-5, fostering a nurturing environment for their early learning journey.

As a special benefit for Hamburg United Methodist Church (HUMC) members, we are offering a tuition discount. It's our way of expressing appreciation for the church community's support.

Mark your calendars for in-house registration, which begins on February 5th and is conducted online. This priority registration period is open to church members, alumni, and currently enrolled families. If you have any questions or are interested in participating in the in-house registration process, please reach out to us at llps@hamburgumc.org.

We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones to our Little Lamb Preschool family!

Human Relations Day

Sunday, January 14, 2024

There are many today who are living within the margins of society, those struggling to survive. Over and over Jesus served people like this. To continue the ministry of Jesus, Human Relations Day calls all of us to participate in helping all of God’s children realize their potential through faith-based volunteer programs, community developers, and programs that work with at-risk teens.

Offering envelopes are available at the entrance to the sanctuary and at the Welcome

Center. Give your gift any time during January or February with your personal check or by electronic giving designating an amount for Human Relations Day

January Food Collection for Spark's Food Cupboard

Dear Church Members,

Throughout January, Spark's Food Cupboard will collect essential food items to support the Hamburg community. Your contributions make a significant impact on those who rely on this assistance.

Items to Purchase:

  • Canned fruit (any type, preferably flip-top cans)

A designated basket labeled "SPARKS" will be placed in the Gathering Space for your convenience. Kindly place your donated food items in this basket and refrain from placing them directly in the cupboard outside Sparks. This arrangement will help manage the food inventory.

Your generosity and support are deeply appreciated. Let's come together to make a difference!

Thank you, Wendy and Dave Spaulding

The Church office is glad to announce that services going forward will be streamed via YouTube Live, in addition to the current Facebook Live services. You can access the Youtube live stream on our Youtube Channel, or directly on our church website homepage.

ANNOUNCEMENTS CALL TO WORSHIP

Is someone here moving toward the twilight of life and fearful of that which we call death?

Why be afraid? God is able.

Is someone here on the brink of despair because of the death of a loved one, the breaking of a marriage, or the waywardness of a child?

Why despair? God is able to give us the power to endure that which cannot be changed.

Is someone here anxious because of bad health?

Why be anxious? Come what may, God is able.

Surely God is able.

OPENING MUSIC: “God Hath Spoken through the Prophets” #108 UMH

OPENING PRAYER: Eternal light, shine into our hearts. Eternal Goodness, deliver us from evil.

Eternal Wisdom, scatter the darkness of our ignorance.

through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
